The First Cistrome Meeting

With the commercial availability of genome tiling microarrays, all of us have dabbled on conducting ChIP-chip to study the genome-wide interaction between trans-factors and cis-elements. We are thinking of organizing a series of informal Cistrome meetings to exchange scientific insights and experiences in this exploration. For the first meeting, however, we will focus on the technical aspects of ChIP-chip. Apparently, ChIP-chip on tiling array is not a trivial task, and many labs have to deal with technical and analysis problems and trouble shooting. Our first meeting will aim to find a solution to these challenges, and help labs get their ChIP-chip working more smoothly.

Time: 9am-4pm, Friday 07/21/06

Location: Cannon Room, Building C, Harvard Medical School
